What Do I Say? is designed to keep message content limited to the services needed to generate your draft. Processing differs by device so Sparkle can stay reliable.
How message generation works
- On iPhone and iPad: the message text you submit is sent securely to the What Do I Say? Cloudflare Worker and processed with Cloudflare Workers AI so Sparkle can generate a response without loading a large AI model inside Safari.
- On supported desktop browsers: Sparkle may continue to process message generation on-device in the browser.
- Generated drafts are returned to your browser and may be stored locally as part of the product experience.
The What Do I Say? application does not intentionally write your message text or generated draft into its server logs. Operational logging is designed to use content-free error and request information.
Browser storage
- Your browser may store product preferences and legacy purchase information from earlier versions. Sparkle no longer requires trial or purchase verification for access.
- The app may cache interface files needed for normal operation.
- Clearing site data can remove trial or purchase-recovery information stored on that device.
Payments
Sparkle is free and does not require checkout. Stripe handled earlier purchases and may retain the associated transaction records.
Service providers and technical data
When Sparkle uses Cloudflare Workers AI, Cloudflare processes the generation request as the infrastructure and AI provider. Requests to the site and its providers can also include normal technical information such as an IP address, browser information, and request timestamps.
Security
Do not enter passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or other credentials into the message box. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can clear this site's browser storage or cache through your browser controls. Doing so can remove local preferences and legacy purchase information, but does not affect free access.
